Common Questions:
Q: Can 12mm CDX plywood be used for flooring?
A: Yes, 12mm plywood can be used as flooring underlayment, though for heavy-duty or high-traffic areas, 18mm is typically preferred.

Q: Is CDX plywood suitable for outdoor use?
A: Yes, but it must be sealed or treated for full outdoor protection. While the adhesive is moisture-resistant, the wood itself can absorb water if left untreated.

Q: What makes CDX plywood different from hardwood plywood?

A: CDX is typically used for structural purposes and may have visible imperfections, whereas hardwood plywood is often chosen for decorative finishes.

Q: Can it be painted or stained?

A: Yes, CDX plywood can be painted or stained, though filling surface imperfections first may improve the final finish.
